Aly B The way music seemingly delivers when you cant quite decide what to listen to. Sometimes instagram just delivers, and boy did it deliver.
Sin Offering, a new group that has delivered in a fire track straight out of the gate. The artists, from the posts on instagram loves to play, featuring guitar and drum short clips, amoungst the dog videos.
In a stunning debut, The Ritual, opens with an incredible, electric sounding set of strings, before opening directly into the heavy guitar and drums. The death metal sound is alive and well, carrying through the gravelly growl of the singers’ vocals, its intense and carries through the song, but creates a perfectly meshed song that i have been needing in 2023. 2023 is proving to be the year of risk, people taking chances and just having fun with their music and we.love.to.see.it!
I love how with each section of the song, even as instruments change and the vocals come through, it never feels disjointed or out of place. The artist keeps the tempo consistent, shifting more into guitar around 1:28 and then the at the 2-minute mark where the tempo shifts into a battle between drums and guitar before vocals kick in to carry us to the end of the track and we fade into the same strings that introduced the song.
