Japanese Visual Kei gods MUCC have released a mini-album and demonstrate just why they are one of the gods of the Visual Kei world. Every song on this album have been expertly crafted and each member compliments each other perfectly and there are definite hints of Muse in some of the songs. Tatsuro’s vocals are a thing of pure beauty and he really flexes his skills in this mini-album. The drum and guitar composition is so tight and wraps around Tatsuro’s vocals lifting lifting each song into a level of pure aural pleasure. I was particularly impressed with ‘Sarugutsuwa’ as Tatsuro mixes in blends of rap and hiphop, with screamo and rock. The song is definitely my favourite song on the album.
