Album Review: Chilloud Fuses Dreampop and K-hiphop into one amazing collection of songs for new Album ‘Dustystar’

Korean Hip-hop DJ/rapper/producer Chilloud has released his highly anticipated new album ‘Dustystar’ and man is this album tight as. Over the last year, I have been following Chilloud closely as one of the big up and coming alternative artists to come out of Korea. His live DJing sets are amazing to watch and he really brings the beat. This album is a fusion of all things K-EDM/hyperpop and K-Hiphop, creating its on unique genre all on its own.
This is not Chilloud’s first album, but you can really see how he has improved himself from his previous album ‘ Hyperpop Saved My Life’. His vocals are stronger and smoother. His lyrics have improved and are both touching, emotional and deep. And his mixing, which is his strongest suit, has evolved to become even more exciting than before. This album is so tight, its really hard to choose what song stands out the most as they are all so good. Chilloud is definitely my favourite Rookie of the year and we are so excited to see what he has in store for us in the future! Check out ‘Dustystar’ Below!
