Top 5 Stages you will find Aria Star at during Good things 2022

Aria van Weye 22/08/2022

With only a few months to go before epic music festival Good Things arrives, we thought it would be a freaking amazing idea to write about just what stages the staff at Aria Star are most excited for and where you can find us when we go live in Melbourne. With so many many amazing bands to see, here is our shortlist of acts that we can’t wait to see this year!

REGURGITATOR

This is showing my age but I swear there’s not one Australian who hasn’t heard one of the ‘gurges songs and it was definitely part of the soundtrack of my teen years. Regurgitator have been active and bringing it to the masses since 1993. Some of the most well known hits from regurgitator of course would be ‘Black Bugs’, ‘Polyester girl’ and ‘Happiness(rotting my brain). You will definitely be seeing us at this stage, and we are so excited to be able to see Regurgitator for the first time ever! Bring on black bugs!!!!!!!!!!!

LACUNA COIL

Italian goth rockers, Lacuna Coil have been a staple sound within the goth and metal scene. The group have toured prolifically in the last few years and now Australians can finally get to see them! Lacuna Coil had to cancel their last scheduled performance here back in 2020 due to Covid, so fans are incredibly excited to be able to finally see them perform. I have my fingers and toes crossed they play my favourite Lacuna Coil song ‘Heavens a Lie’!

ONE OK ROCK

Japanese legendary rock group One Ok Rock are back and this time we are NOT missing out in seeing them live. The lads have just released their epic new song ‘Save Yourself’ so we cannot wait to see them perform it live. One OK Rock have been touring Japan this summer and their stages have been hella fun so we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!

TISM (This Is Serious Mum)

Ahhh TISM, to be honest I didn’t ever think I would get the opportunity to actually see the OG trolling masters themselves perform live. It’s a true dream come true especially for many of the younger fans of TISM who haven’t been able to see the guys live as it will be their first performance in 19 years! let that sink in! And even more reason as to make sure you go to this stage, who knows when we will see TISM again? maybe another 19 years time!

BRING ME THE HORIZON

Bring Me The Horizon is just one of those bands that have a truly epic stage presence, and they take that energy and presence everywhere, which is why we are beyond excited to see these guys live. Ollie Sykes is an amazing vocals talent and really knows how to get the crowd to open up that mosh pit. This stage is going to get loud, rough and ready to go. Moshing is mandatory. I am really hoping the lads perform Happy as I’ve seen them perform it at other concerts and it’s always a hella awesome show! There is a 100% chance of Aria screaming like a fangirl at this stage.
