First off, how dare you.
Yes i am emo trash and i admit it, but how dare you!
*sigh* fair enough…
The song is amazing. It fits the emo aesthetic not in a forced, cringe manor, but in a nostalgic feeling, a feeling you have listened to this song before but cant quite place the emotion.
Following the success of bangers such as God Mode and Levitate, both 2023 tracks, the group deliver their latest single, calling to the hearts of all former and current emo children by us giving early 2000s pop punk vibes. Very Green Day or Sum 41, with mentions of legendary Black Parade and yes we all had the lights down low and sung WAAAAAYYY off key to…. Black Parade. The 2000’s were a time.
The song is incredibly melded from a 2000’s nostalgia but with a modern flare, proving that emo truly never dies and never ages, it just gets better with age.
Featuring the talent of Greyson Zone, his recent EP Dead @ 16 released May 2023 featuring track of the same name and my favourite “I hope your not ok”, Greyson fits the vibes of the song perfectly and i cant wait to see more from the amazing talent.
“Love me
Hate me
never gonna change me”
